Coaching is a partnership where I work with clients to identify a vision of their healthiest, happiest selves, the goals they need to have in place to make that vision a reality and the steps they need to take to reach those goals. We work together on a plan with manageable action steps, backups because sometimes life gets in the way, and accountability.

Health and Wellbeing Coaching is a whole person approach to health so any area that impacts your health and happiness is a fit for coaching. The process is centered on what the client wants for themselves. Sometimes identifying what it is we want or need for ourselves can be a journey of its own. As a coach, I’m there for that! The coaching model begins with envisioning how you are, feel, and look when you’re in your optimal state of wellness and then taking steps to get you there. Coaching can help with:

  • Time management
  • Stress management
  • Nutrition or weight loss
  • Exercise or simply getting more active
  • Mental health
  • Feelings of purpose + fulfillment
  • Isolation
  • Feeling better
  • Lowering your cholesterol or dealing with a Pre-diabetes or Diabetes 2 diagnosis
  • Getting more social
  • Starting a regular yoga practice
  • Sleeping more and better
  • Starting a mindfulness and meditation practice
  • Drinking more water
  • Spending more time with family
  • Spending less time with family
  • Self care
  • And any change that feels important to you, the client

I offer single sessions, which can be a helpful jumping off point if a person has a clear focus for the change they’d like to make. A single session is also a good thing to try if you’re skeptical about coaching and don’t want to commit to more than the first shot. Alternatively, I offer bundles of 6 x 45 minute sessions that can take place weekly or every other week. Six sessions over 3 months is fairly standard with health coaching but I leave it to the client to consider what works best for them. Sessions are typically over Zoom and can be in person if that’s the client’s preference.
